The address near Daikanyama is “Sarugakucho,” a 6th-7th century burial mound that gave the area its name. It is a small space but has been carefully preserved with a very nice atmosphere. If you visit the neighborhood, pay a visit.
A great grocery store that has been around for a long time. Homemade bread and fine imported ingredients are a pleasure to browse. Among the breads, the natural yeast croissants are popular. We recommend buying bread, drinks, and deli items and having a picnic at the nearby Saigoyama Park.
A beautiful space with an ivy bookstore and cafes and other facilities. E-books are convenient, but sometimes it is nice to be stimulated by real paper books and art.
You can enjoy a Japanese house and its garden in the fashionable city. It is not large in scale, so you can visit it in a short time. The atmosphere is nostalgic for the common people.
A delicious old-fashioned cheesecake store. There are several varieties, but we recommend the “Mellow (メロー)”. It is a perfect souvenir during a walk along the Meguro River.
