OYOKOGAWA WATER PARK
This long, narrow park connects Kinshicho Station to Tokyo Sky Tree. Walking along the river provides beautiful scenery. Depending on the season, it’s a good idea to bring insect repellent.

It’s a small shop, but they serve delicious coffee and do their own roasting. On non-holidays, you can enjoy a leisurely visit. If it’s crowded, I recommend getting coffee to go and enjoying it on a walk.
As the name suggests, this is a street where you can stroll while enjoying views of the Sky Tree. It offers a calm atmosphere for a relaxing walk.
Funabashiya, known for its kuzumochi, now has locations everywhere, but its main store is located here near Kameido Tenjin. It’s crowded, especially on holidays, but the traditional interior is highly recommended.
Tenjin-sama is famous for its wisteria trellises. If you want to see wisteria, aim for around April. The wisteria trellises can be viewed from above at the Taiko-bashi bridge on the approach to the shrine, and the Sky Tree can be seen in large scale beyond the wisteria trellises.
This restaurant is well-known in Kinshicho for its Chinese cuisine. The most popular dish is the shrimp fried rice, which looks delicious. The dishes are not too large in quantity, so you may order more than one dish. Recommended for strolling around. There can be a line at lunchtime, so try to shift the time or wander around the area and […]
It is said to be the second oldest shopping street in Japan. It has a somewhat desolate atmosphere, which is rare in central Tokyo. However, there are some fashionable stores here and there. Look for cafes such as “229” and the meat shop “30-1 サンジュウ ヒク イチ (Sanju Hiku Ichi) “.
You won’t find many stores where you can actually buy side dishes, but there are also miso and tsukudani (food boiled down in soy sauce) stores, giving the street a nostalgic old-fashioned impression. I recommend passing through here when strolling in Kuramae and Naka-Okachimachi.
It is a store of wonderful household goods where each item is very carefully selected. Even if you have no particular purpose, it is worth a peek. It is a place you don’t often pass by, so if you find something you like, we recommend you buy it.
