芝大神宮 SHIBA DAIJINGU
The shrine dates back to 1005 during the Heian period (794-1185). Although it’s relatively small, its torii gate is magnificent. It’s one of the Ten Shrines of Tokyo and is often referred to as the Ise Grand Shrine of the Kanto region. By the way, Tokyo Daijingu is also known as the Ise Grand Shrine of Tokyo. Both shrines are dedicated to Amaterasu-Ōmikami and Toyouke-Ōmikami.
