The East Gardens, where Edo Castle once stood. There is a spacious lawn where you can buy souvenirs related to the imperial family. Although there is no castle tower, the large stone walls are overwhelming. There are also the ruins of the famous “Chushingura” (the story of Chushingura) pine corridor. You can enjoy such a historic place for free.
Japanese modern art seems to be easily overlooked, but when you come here you will find it very interesting. It is located in an open area between the Imperial Palace and the Budokan. It also has an Italian restaurant.
A park with a beautiful fountain on the way to the Imperial Palace while passing Gyoko-dori Avenue in front of Tokyo Station. There is also a Starbucks where you can take a relaxing break.
