A well-known historic street for the youth. Recently, it has become cleaner and easier to navigate with many chain stores, but it still retains shops like the ever-popular crepe stands, offering a nostalgic atmosphere for all generations.
This is a classy coffee shop that has been around for a long time. You can enjoy not only the delicious coffee but also the dishes. Cafe Creme is highly recommended. It seems to be a quiet private store, but there are also stores in Jiyugaoka and Hiroo.
Sarutahiko Coffee’s Harajuku store is located on the second floor of a building near Harajuku Station. It’s a great place to take a break when visiting Meiji Shrine or Yoyogi Park. The atmosphere is very pleasant.

The wide street that leads from Meiji Shrine to Omotesando Station is lined with high-end brand stores and beautiful trees. Venturing into the side streets, you’ll find numerous small shops offering clothing and food, making for an enjoyable detour.
An open park leading to Meiji Jingu Shrine. Festivals and flea markets are often held at the event plaza across the road. It connects Shibuya and Harajuku, so take a walk around it on your way to the park.
