Image of Stroll from Asakusa to Tokyo Skytree to visit long-established Tendon and Japanese sweets stores

Asakusa is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo.

This time, we will start from the Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center and head for the Sky Tree. This walk is a great way to get to know old Japan, such as Sensoji Temple, and modern Japan, such as Skytree. This route connecting two popular spots allows you to walk at a leisurely pace as you can avoid the crowds.

First, from Asakusa Station, head for the Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center, located right in front of the Kaminarimon gate.

From Kaminarimon, walk along Nakamise-dori (street) for about 5 minutes.
After lunch, pay a leisurely visit to Sensoji Temple, then walk for about 10 minutes to the Sumida River
Cross the bridge and walk about 5 minutes to Tokyo Mizumachi, which is attached to the park.
After enjoying Japanese sweets, head for Tokyo Sky Tree. You can see it, so don’t get lost. About 15 minutes on foot

Tokyo Sky Tree is the goal this time.

There are many fun stores in Sky Tree even if you don’t climb up to the top. Among them, if you get tired, I recommend a cup of coffee at this “BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR COFFEE KIOSK”. Originally located in Yoyogi, this store is famous for its third wave coffee. Let’s heal the fatigue of strolling with sweets as well.
