Start your walk near Sangenjaya Station (Den-en-toshi Line DT03, Setagaya Line SG01). Take some time to freely explore the surroundings and make your way towards the ‘Echo Nakamise Shopping Street’ at your own pace.

It’s about a 20-minute walk through residential neighborhoods until the next spot. You have two options: take a slightly longer route through the green pathway towards the next spot, or deviate from the green pathway and return to Chazawa Street, then continue straight ahead. Sangenjaya and Shimokitazawa share similarities in their welcoming atmosphere as residential areas, but when you walk through them, you’ll notice the striking differences in the people passing by and the ambiance of the shops. It makes for an enjoyable stroll.

Shimokitazawa has also undergone significant changes around the station due to the underground construction of the Odakyu Line.
